The JBA are not long tubes tho and you also have to buy some collector pipes witch are another 200 bucks. I looked into them and I just don't see the benefit for only saving 2 bills

3 quarter lengths aren't they, didnt know about the collector pipes, that sucks I just can't believe no one else makes any. The avy 2500 guys are using some long tubes can't be much difference between both vehicles.

I'd call them a mid length header yeah. They are a good header I'd just rather have a full long tube fore the price difference

Where did you read that? Long tubes are supposed to give more low end torque. 5500 rpm is something my motor never sees most the time never more than 4000

if SW's werent that retarded bend in the driver side one i would like them better. I had THE OTHER GUY's headers which were a shorty with nice primaries and .500 thick flanges. dyno wise in mid range made a noticeable difference

I thought someone posted that the JBAs required angle plug boots and the stainless works could retain the stock wires and heat shields. To me that's a good reason to go with the stainless works.

I like how the tubes cross over, makes running stock cats easier and not having to run the exhaust back and cross over at the transfer case. I can't find long tubes for my 97 that are gonna be at all stock exhaust friendly. Especially cause I have the 3/4 ton primary cat pipes on mine that are 3 inch rather than the stock 2 inch the half tons had
