Is it true the 6.6L from a chevy van can be mated with a 6L80e and be put into a chevy avalanche 1500 or chevy silverado 1500?

4l80 it can not sure on the 6l80 since there so rare

but yeah it could but your talking some fab work on the frame

6.6 from van is the same as the truck

The 6L80/90 should work because it has the same bellhousing bolt pattern and fits within the tunnel of the 1500's, though you will have some programing issues to overcome.

yeah but to get the dmax to fit your gonna have to cut that frame some

and i dont know of any tranny controllers for the 6l80e plus your gonna break it with the dmax anyhow

y not use the allison imo
