I think you picked the perfect set up for the purpose. Check in with some updates.

I will, prob not going to do anything till the weather starts to get nice. To be honest I believe that the 6.5 will walk a circle around the big block that is in it, esp considering it will have OD, be able to run up the beltway at 60mph and not be tacking 3k.

Yeh it was a freak of luck that this dude happened to have this set up. Still waiting to get some specs as to the actual components, but I do feel it will suit this truck well. I wish the cummins could be had for cheaper, but o-well.

Cummins is loud and shakes, no the best for a cruiser. If you dont mind a HP limit and not being able to run 60 psi boost or roll coal everywhere then the 6.5 will do great and it will surprise you with a load.
