I thought this was some pretty intersting info:

I also read in Diesel power, Sept. 07, page 20. The initial numbers on it's power are very conservative. They won't disclose anything until dodge and ford release more info on their 1/2 ton diesels. But he expects the numbers to be around 340hp and 590 tq!!! That much power and you'll be close to 28 mpg in a 1/2 ton 4x4, SOLD!

I will be the first one in line to get one. I love my 07 vmax but I have relized that with any pulling diesel is the only way to go. I will be trading the truck in the second I can get one just like it with the 4.5l dmax. Close to the same hp but 200 more lb tq and better mpg.

I can't wait!!! Thats what Im holding out for until for my next new truck. I don't need a 2500HD or a truck that heavy but I want a diesel to get better fuel economy and more power. Diesel is awesome it makes more sense in a truck because you use the torque more than the HP. And the fact you can run it on old french fryer oil (which is better for the motor!) Is just plain awesome! More power than I would know what to do with! Hehe!
