Smile 2500hd needs more pep in it's step

I have a 2007 2500hd classic with the 6.0 and the NV4500 5 speed manual. The truck is a 4x4 Reg. cab long bed, and I'm wanting to improve the performance of this truck a bit. I have two trucks, I'm wondering what I can do to make this truck comparable to my 5.7 double cab Tundra? (don't hate) The Tundra only has an intake and exhaust.
So I assumed I'd do the typical CAI, exhaust, tuner, and what is the limit on the NV4500's hp/tq wise?

I've searched about the 6.0 and a tuner, but only fine threads about 6.0's with the auto tranny.

The superchargers are cheaper for the Chevy than for the Tundra that's for sure.

Start with intake long tube headers exhaust and a good tune that 6.0 will outrun that tundra any day

Should I upgrade the nv4500 in any way? The truck 100% stock (oem) right now.

Lots of bolt-on 6.0HDs on here. I can't think of one that would take a 5.7 Tundra. Best bet would be a supercharger. Remember that you're carrying around a lot more weight than the Tundra, and the Tundra has better gearing too.

The 4500 is a pretty stout trans, so I think you'll be fine there, but you may want to upgrade your clutch if you're looking to bang gears.

In terms of torque and fun factor a PD blower would really wake that truck up Wouldn't be the fastest thing on two wheels but it would "**** and get" pretty nicely. You can pick up MP112 kits fairly reasonably these days
