Dmax hands down, Its 3 times the truck a reg gas 2500 is.

They tow Anything, Are dead nuts reliable, And get twice the mileage of a stock 6.0 2500.

Mine with 35's gets 17 around town and 20+ on the highway.

The duramax is the superman of trucks.

dirtymax for sure. What are your plans for the truck? would start with a programer and lift pump.(Airdog or FASS) Also would recommend to stay away from edge. They tend to shift hard and funky. PPE makes a BA tuner. EFI live you will get the most gains will need a shift kit too!

would look at a programer 30-50hp gains. hyper-tech makes one that isn't to aggressive.

if you ever decide to drag it you'll need tie-rod sleeves. so you can make it down the track haha

I tuned a 2500hd cuz he towed a lot with it and hated the 8-9 mpg's it got. Still wasn't happy with it, 3 weeks later he traded it for a Dmax EXACTLY like it and is in love!

I just bought a Dmax to move to Texas with and I LOVE that truck! 2, 2500 mile trips with a 22' enclose trailer and didn't skip a beat, so nice and power full!
