GM made it so you can physically not read the PCM out of the OBD2 port on the LML and new trucks. So EFILive can not read the current stock tune out of the PCM to modify it. With out that they can not support the 2011 and newer Dmax trucks. They have said over and over that they will NOT be supporting these trucks because off this issue.

There is no "code to crack" You simply physically, can NOT read the ECM through the OBD2 port. You would have to disassemble the ECM and read directly off the chip. You can flash to it (what H&S does), but not read it. You would have to get a stock file from the GM data base, modify it and then flash it to the ECM. This violates the terms of use agreement with the GM data base and EFILive said they want no part of that. EFILive's WHOLE premise is you READ out the stock tune and modify it and then flash it back in. This is NOT possible with the new ECM's GM is putting in these truck, so therefore they are not supporting them. This is what was explained to me from EFILive.

There may not be EFILive, but DuramaxTuner.com is working on some pretty good tunes for it. Based on their EFI tunes I've seen in the past, I think their LML stuff will be pretty sick.
