hello

i have a 2011 3500 hd cab/chassis crew cab 4x4 auto with 6.0l

i am looking to find out what are good mods for this truck.

it has a dump bed and i use a 10ft plow in winter.

i just picked the truck up with 19000 miles for $32000

i will be doing a lot of towing with it.

i am looking just for more towing power and able to hold gears with out downshifting on freeway.

i see a lot of people talking about tunes.

how does this engine respond to headers? cai? exahust?

Best adder for towing IMO would be at least, 4.10-4.56 gears and a supercharger. Ive done headers, CAI, tune and 4.56 gears. Out of all of them that made a difference it would have to be gears.

 

what is a good kit for the truck i have and any know who sells at best price?

 

I used Rons Machine Shop, they had really good prices. I got my gears as a Christmas present, think they were bought for $415, front and rear with master install kits.
