I have a customer looking for one ... what direction should I steer him in?

We have a budget of 5-600 bucks.

 

from reading on dieselplace.com, steer away from the edge, they had problems with spontaneous shut down while going interstate speeds and using the chips power, as in passing a semi.

 

efi live it...couple good tunes on diesel place...put one on my buddy's 07LBZ

 

I would suggest that, but not what we do. We're just a parts store.

Thanks for the heads up on the Edge. That's teh one I initially thought of.

 

The Edge J/A is the one that has the problems shutting down (didn't think it was still a problem for the LBZ's though).
I have the Edge Evo and it's been a pretty good unit. Edge is working on an update for it to give it an extra level and added boost now.

That one is within your budget too. Only downfall I see with it is that it doesn't have shift on the fly.
