i got a 2000 6.0 short block long crank tryin to put in corvette with 6 spd. starter will not reach flywheel. is any other way to make work without changing crank. any advice. thanks

Have the rear snout cut down. cheaper then buying another crank....

i am gonna build the ls6 that came out.

 

there are different flywheels for the 4L60e. the truck one is flat the car one is dished a bit.

 

Yeah but he has a 2000 6.0L with a long crank flange so it won't help when he bolts the flywheel and clutch! Its for the T56 BTW.


69ss-Why not just stroke the 6.0L since you need a new crank anyway! Make the 6.0 a 402 with stock bore! You would be ahead than just building the LS6 and you can sell it to recoup costs for the stroke. Add L92 heads and L76 car intake and go racing 500hp easy!

 

I got a brand new flywheel for cheap.

 

I bet you could have the existing crank turned down for like $50 Any machinest could do it for you... Hell, I will Take Pictures with exact measurements for you If you need them...
