Well full circle now. Have to get the stock mirror caps off.

After wet sanding.


All buffed up. If I say so myself they are damn beautiful. I want the whole truck to look this good.

For the record, a butter knife is the tool for the job of removing the caps. Pry under and go around the perimeter and saw through the tape. Got the old ones off without snaping any of the tabs.

Thanks guys. I'm happy with the project. Learn as I go. Think I'm ready to tackle the entire hood now with full blown spray guns. Mirror caps were done with spray can paint.
