Couldn't get the old one off. Broke the first puller (cheapo $15 one from O'Reilly's), borrowed a good one from my mechanic, still only could back it off 1/2". And after further investigation, my loose steering is due mainly to the fact that my steering box is worn out; the input shaft turns about 1/8th turn before the output shaft turns the pitman arm.

Sooooo, I am going to pull a steering box off a low mileage something for $140-150 at a junkyard and throw that one on with the pitman arm already on it, then I won't have to deal with a stupid puller again.

Seeing how there's no sponsors on here that sell steering boxes . . . check out Adco Power Steering - They're in Houston . . . get a better than stock box for the same price.
