I havent got around to fixing the gauges on mine yet! Im using my tach as my speedo right now lol

oh you got an 87, well that won't be bad, ya just adapt them with tube nuts to -6 and use some short stainless steel braided lines to some Russel LS quick disconnect.

no, i have an 82 but i thought about buying dual 87 tanks and using the 87 model fuel lines that run up to the back of the intake for TBI and adapting from there to the truck intake

I like the 87 fuel line idea. It would be clean thats for sure.

well scratch the 87 line idea, the switching valve will not handle 60psi

I wondered about that, i had trouble when looking to do this my self. For now, Im running one tank, until I can figure out how to make it work.

imma stick with one tank 16 gallons will go plenty far, i only drive this truck about 1000 miles a year

Hey guys, I'm usually a lurker on here just reading and searching for information and never posting. However, this thread caught my eye, and I read the whole thing! Great looking trucks you guys have. I have a 1986 Stepside that I'm in the process of swapping in a 5.3/4L60E. Anyways, I saw in this thread you were looking for some specific information. I've done a ton of research, and book marked everything that I've found. I'll provide ya'll with some things that I have found.

Using the stock cable driven speedometer:
