Default 1.5 Din to 2 Din conversion

I tried searching for threads on this but I didn't come up with anything. I really want a double din dvd player but since I have a 2000, it wont fit. Is there any way to make one fit? Maybe buy the 03+ dash bezel and use it? I've heard that it has been done, but I couldn't turn up much. Thanks in advance.
