Hey all I have the carrier (or what ever it is called) that I got new in 98 this has the 98 date code on it. This has never been installed. I believe it is a replacement for both OBS and NBS but this should be verified I believe it just requires the correct bearings to work in either setup. This could be a great replacement for those with a factory peg leg... or any replacement.
There are no gears on this just the limited slip unit. Priced at $175 plus 15 dollars shipping.

i thought obs was 28 spline and nbs is 30 spline. i could be wrong though. if i am wrong i am interested.

i have a 8.6" 30 spline g-80 i just pulled to install a truetrac ....$250 shipped...no gear just the unit...has 13,000 miles on it...

 

that price is a little steep...for a used one

 

not when it's about $50 to send this heavy *** thing...but im open to offers...

 

don't know how much heavier a g80 is than a stock carrier but it was around $15 to ship the stock carrier...
