In the case of the F-car, you can expect an improvement of up to 25 hp over the stock camshaft. Quarter mile times can be reduced by as much as 3-4 tenths.

Well, that looks hauntingly like Comp's LS1 3710R/3714R 115+4.

Maybe because it is?

This SLP cam (Comp Cam actually) and Cam Motion's are nearly identical in specs. The only difference would be how exactly the different company's lobes control the valve events. But I would bet they would be very similar in behavior.

I will be putting some Mid Lengths on. Other than that the exhaust is pretty robust. Daul 3" into a Mangnaflow 22" case muffler (Internal Y) into a single 4" Outlet.

I wouldn't go with that large of a split then. I would stick with 4-6* split, 6 being the absolute most.

212/218 ... that's 6* split ..
216/220 ... 4* split.

If you had the stockish exhaust, I'd say go more, like 6-8, maybe even as much as 9 or 10 if you wanted to go all out.

Once you get the hedaers .. it will prolly be better than average.

Personally .. I'd rather have a dual in dual out muffler though.

Reverse-split camshafts are more commonly used in setups that have a free-flowing exhaust, and a restricted intake flow. When the intake charge is assisted (nitrous, blower), you may fatten up the exhaust lobe to help release the gases.

Example.
346ci LS1
stock manifold
off-road exhaust
long tube headers
stock heads
-Might require a fatter intake lobe.

Example.
325ci LM7
200 wet shot
FAST manifold
Stock exhaust
-Might require more exhaust lobe, to help expel gases.

Make sense?
