Default 84c10 5.3 4l60e swap

Hi i would like to introduce myself, my name is jason and i live in minnesota. i grew up with these trucks running around everywhere in the 80's and just got an itch to build one about a year ago. So i went on cl and found a clean 84 2wd shortbox with a rattle can or roller carolina blue paintjob. i was planning on just dropping it and driving it with the 350/t350 but i started sanding on the body and then it turned into buying a 99 5.3 and a new tranny...

so far i have installed a djm 3/4 kit, finished all my body work got it in ppg ncp 270 primer waiting to be blocked, sealed and shot. the motor and tranny are dropped, schoenfeld long tubes coated and ready to install, engine bay all cleaned and repainted (mullsane blue metallic) i have sound deadened the cab.

i have to pull the box to get the rear of the cab and install fuel lines, tranny cooler/lines, and hook the computer all up. i sent the cpu to jesse bubb and sent the harness to current performance.

i ended up removing all the glass during the body work phase and it is about done now. what i need help with is running fuel lines and transmission cooler lines...this an fitting stuff and adapting to factory lines vs running new and finding right fittings is making me go crazy?!! what have you all done,,,all i have figured out is the russell quick connects from summit.

i am running an external walbro 255 and am looking for a fuel filter for it.

i have the 99 so it has the regulator in the fuel rail.

What headers are you using? Did they require any trimming any where?
