Any tips on getting these sliders off? I got one off and it took all my force then on the second one trying to pull it off actually pulled it up out of the board and broke my driver side one so now im in need of the controls. Figured id post here for the tip tho for my next attempt.

So how did you get the slider pieces off without breaking them?

Lol thats what i was doing and instead of the thing coming off, it ripped the whole slide lever out the board. Found one locally though so should get it 2moro.

dremel, and long nosed vise grips. "tunnel it" from the bottom, from the top cover.

Matt I have the truck back, so if you'd like I can get a pic tomorrow night in and post with the new stereo Eric gave me for my birthday....

And what about the door/window toggles?

Yall... Matt is "LED-Man". He has both my truck and Eric's HHR SS lined with the LEDs. Of course there are a few more that we'd like to add to both vehicles.

FYI.. It's kind of entertaining seeing Matt who's all of 6'9' maneuver in and through an HHR.
