HP was 5400 RPM, and TQ was 4300 IIRC.

Nothing wrong with the current engine, but recently picked up a rebuilt LQ9 longblock. I am tossing around several ideas of how I want to approach the next round of mods. Basically have it narrowed down to a different cam than my current cam, head porting, 93 octane, possibly a 3000-ish stall.

I hate to be "that guy", but in the back of my mind I am chasing 400 rwhp & 400 rwtq... all while keeping it my daily driver and being able to tow.

Small upgrades... Transmission Specialties 2800 RPM converter, Bell Tech 2" drop spindles and 2" drop hangers. Going with about 1.5" shorter tires too.

Do you remember what length you had to get for this? I am getting ready to swap my truck over to a 6.0/4l80e and I am trying to figure out what driveshaft I need.

Stock length. Prior to upgrading, I was using my factory driveshaft with a different yoke.

Remember which yoke you had to run? Got a link to it by chance? Thanks for the info.

Finally got around to installing the Belltech spring hangers. Noticed that my pinion seal is leaking when I was under the truck... yay. Drop spindles are next on my to be installed list.

Going to have my spare intake manifold ported. (Peak Speed Radical) I looked at the FAST LSxRT, but can't justify the cost - nor do I think my mild set up needs a 102mm TB. I am still on the fence about cylinder heads... I have a 68k mile set of 799s with the same spring kit I have now (BTR duals) + ti retainers. I know... I know... "706s are the best!" I am thinking of sending the 799s to AI for a performance rebuild - no porting, and to be milled .030". Going to install a 160 degree stat and switch from 87 to 93 as well. I would like to see a real 25-35 RWHP & RWTQ gain from everything.

Still need to install my spindles, tires, and have it aligned.
