What is the difference in the NNBS lowering strut and the 2014?

GM made a change to the top mount. Belltech adapted to the change by giving the strut more threads to allow a safe installation.

Any lowering kits specific to the 4wd models? Something in the neighborhood of a 2-4 drop. I know there was one member who dropped is High Country but it sounds like it was parts that came from several different kits and possibly some custom fabrication. I'm looking for a 4wd specific kit that all inclusive.

Belltech has NOT test fitted any 4WD models as of yet. After talking with one of their guys he believes there may be a small change in the 4WD OE spindle. But none of that is confirmed as of yet.

If the 4WD models are anything like the last generation the kit should work. You can use the 25004 strut, 6525 flip kit,6700 shackle and 2212FF rear shock. PM me for special pricing.

If it does not fit I will allow a return with no restocking fee.

The "Stem" of the strut required more threads to accommodate the thicker strut top mount that GM used for the 14' models.

When you order a lift kit for a 2014 it asks you to specify between aluminum front end and steal. Basically a 4x4 is steal and the Z71 is aluminum. The only difference in the kit I see is that on the aluminum ones the is a .250" spacers that's goes between the upper ball joint nut and the spindle. I would assume that there will be something similar to this with a drop kit.

I am wanting to put the aluminum spindles on my 2wd rcsb but I haven't had time to test fit the ball joints.

So I've got a 2014 4x4 that I'm trying to lower 2/4. It has aluminum components.
McGaughys didn't think their 2wd spindles would work on my 4x4 so they sent me front drop strut spacers. Basically you cut off your stock spring perch on your strut and slide these on. Yuck.
I'd really like a drop spindle so I haven't installed any of this yet in hopes someone will put out a spindle. If anybody wants to me to do test fitting, I can do it quick and am a machinist so can give above average feedback.
