Haven't posted here in a while (now that everyone is on Facebook). I bought a 2015 Tahoe PPV 2wd, which comes with the 5.3L Ecotec3, Flex-Fuel Capability, 6L80e, 3.08 gears, and lowered/firm suspension. It's still bone stock but I have been running E85 on it since there is an E85 fuel station near my house. I've been trying to see if it's worth modding the 5.3L or just swapping it for a 6.2L crate and mod that one. I would like to go with a 2.9L whipple or turbo. Just not sure which setup I should go with. First, I need to research if there's any issues I should take care of before I void the warranty.

The other white one is my old one. I sold it to my coworker.

I'm going with the 3.73s I'm hoping the new ring and pinion in the rear will fix the shake and vibration in the drivetrain. I had Rick Crawford tune the truck for me and the throttle delay is gone. Luckily I have hptuners so the programming is cake. I'm holding off from stalls and blowers because now the 2015 ecoboost f150s go 12.50's tune only. Maybe gm will make 5.3 trucks with big turbos soon lol

Trick, New Era and Sinister have turbo kits and trucks out there. They are not very popular yet but man they seem to be making great power.

I want to swap 3.73 in my 2015 over the 3.23 that comes behind the 8 speed in non max tow applications... should be a good ride. That said I want an aftermarket carrier over the stupid Gov Junk so I may have to wait a while... or drop down from the 9.76" carrier to the old SF 14 bolts 9.5". Be nice not too though.

I have HP as well....just not too sure about tuning it yet... but I would like to get rid of the throttle delay.

Yeah...the ecoboost is a beast IMO. I drove my friends '12 King Ranch. It was definitely as quick as my truck....and his is Crew Cab 4wd. I'm RCSB 2wd. Made a nice sound too...stock.
I know its probably a Mazda engine truth be told... but it seems to be a good power plant. Now if you could get one with a stick.....

I think Ford really got its **** together in the last few years.

throttle delay is easy, get rid of some of the torque management in the trans. then you have to adjust the driver demand tables.
Ford really did, the 5.0 coyote mustangs are very mod friendly. the 6r80 trans is good well into the 9s

I removed a bunch out of my last two trucks. Just not sure I want to do anything to this one....I have had a few warranty claims already...want to see what bugs it has left first.

I may call on you later on though...see what you have done with your TM.
