We have and its a moster now. Highway isnt bad 2700 but he also has stock manifold and cats with true dual 2.5 in and no muffler dumped under the bed so he can find a muffler to quiet it down

I sold off the 212/218 cam for my 6.0 tow turd. i really don't care about WOT performance and only towing/highway performance and decided the stock cam is best suited for what i use the truck for. one day i'll run across a steal on a Maggie 112.

Have you looked at vinice performance cams for towing? I have a friend that has a 02 6.0 with 200k and he tows crazy things with his trucker cam and he said the torque in it is amazing strong and pulls a 19 foot trailer with his 2 razors to payson which is 7000ft elevation from desert level 1200 hardly downshiftinf from overdrive...

I looked at them all. Ultimately bang for buck on my stock tow turd isnt worth it. The heaviest thing i tow is a camaro on an open trailer so im not stressing a stock 2500hd by ant means. Its just the gear head in me that makes me want more.

I'm the same way lol... My tow truck is my 04 and it's getting a TVS 2300 ( Magnuson is selling the 2300 kit for the same price as the 1900 so why not) and headers. I was going to cam but last I checked it's not a race truck lol...

In my 5.3 im personally going tsp 220r or 224r with 243 heads milled to 10 .1 to 10.5 compression with a 3300-3500 stall. Should give it a huge zag.
