If you could find those tapered bolts for a good price any idea how much you would sell your tierod kit for?

At least competitive to the other kits on the market, but I would need to source material and make a few sets to see how much labor time and effort is involved, but probably in the 200-250 range.

I didn't actually break anything and may not have done any damage at all. The steering just didn't feel right after but that could be my OCD kicking in. But considering that I still had the OE 130k mile tie rods, I figured they could stand being replaced even though everything feels tight. Picked up Moog inners/outers and (without reading the fine print) the Rough Country sleeves. All parts are sitting in boxes waiting on it to rumble again.

After reading the thread on the turbo OBS that the guy is putting together in is parking garage up in Vancouver (I think), I will not complaing about the cold. Right now the hold up is head bolts. Motor was supposed to be from an 05 so I ordered the later kit. Naturally it's an 03 older motor. Unfortunately life has other plans for funds at the moment.

If you are willing to drill out your spindle and use a straight bolt it gets a whole lot easier. That is actually what I did on mine.

Looked into the squeak I was hearing and it wasn’t the coil overs after all. It was the Cognito steering supports. I hit the hiem with some dry film spray lube and no more noise!
