I'm not sure I would even get the uniball they are expensive!
Honestly I wouldnt be to worried about ride hieght I like the big tire low lift look. Makes it easier for all the girls to get in and for me when my back hurts.
I remember trying to get my coilovers perfectly even on both sides took alot of adjustments. I have the firestone lifetime alignment and I think I adjusted and got realigned probably 4 times in 3 or 4 months.
I need to pull my coilovers apart sometime soon and lube them really good with a dry film or something. They squeak a good bit

I'm actually pretty happy with the ride height. Leveled that on 33's that is. I would like to add a Zone 1.5" body lift for a couple of reasons. It would allow me to run a HD grille and front bumper cap without cutting and welding on the frame and it would open up room for a bigger heat exchanger.
Gotta say, reading the other thread on Bilstein 5100's on the rear is tickling my OCD. Have loved the Bilstein's since I put them on but I was coming from crappy Tuff Country (I think).
I always compared my truck to the many 70's/80's solid axle/leaf spring trucks I grew up driving. My truck may not ride like a Beemer or Caddy but it wasn't a buckboard wagon either.

I've considered a body lift as well for when I do my trans swap but I'm just going to cut up tunnel I don't want to see the frame when looking from the side.
I did the same thing when I switched to the bilstiens it had 10 year old procomp trash and It did feel amazing but once I did the coil over swap the front is so smooth and the back is significantly stiffer. There is a wonderful set of speed bumps by my house that reminds me daily.
Solid axle leaf spring FTW! Especially if it’s a 3/4ton or 1ton like driving an aircraft tug around lol.

I think the squeak is coming from the hiems. I got deep in some nasty clay a couple of months ago and they have been squeaking ever since. I want to pull them off and clean up a few places that I had to cut anyway.
I do not think they have a roller thrust washer tho.

Checked tire pressures this afternoon and remeasured. Came up with 38" on both sides in the rear and on passenger front, and almost 38 5/8" on driver's side front. I'll have to check into that when she's mobile again. Also my BFG's measure 31.5 with 40 psi front/35 psi rear.
I agree on body lifts showing too much frame. 95% of the trucks I see with a body lift just look cheap to me. But with the 1.5" body lift you end up with a profile similar to the HD's. Definitely shows more frame but it stays pretty subtle with the right accompanying mods.

roughly 31k hard miles. Anything over 10-15% throttle at least chirps the tires and the last 15k have had the blower abusing them too. They are older style KO's. I do recall that when I went from 60k mile 285/70/17 BFG KO's to the then new current setup, I thought the new tires looked shorter. I love the BFG's and they've been good to me, but I'm considering Toyo Extreme AT's in a 305/70/17 next time.

Those tires must have seen better days. I really like the KO2s they are tame on the street but also handle well off road. The toyos are nice a buddy has a set on his f350. I wouldnt mind going bigger but My 10bolt and transs say other wise

I'm hoping they'll last another 10k. But then again I don't run em till they're bald either. I sold the last set after putting 60k on them and the guy was still running them 2 years later. Lol!
I hear ya on going bigger. I've got a Truetrac in the rear and my 4L60 is built pretty stout but my tranny guy stays on me. He keeps threatening to come up with some sort of throttle stop that I can't undo.
