Default High hp tire setup for street

As the title states looking for a 6 lug tire setup for 750~whp street driven truck. Any suggestions 16-18" rim. Found a bunch of setups using search but all I have really found is track setups. Trying to get a reasonably cheap tire setup for the street since I spent most of my budget on engine/Trans setup.

If you really want to play with 750whp youll need drag radials, which in general, arent cheap ($250ish per tire).

That's not too bad. really wanting to see what size tire and street wheel others near that power level are running this truck will mainly be roll racing. Probably going to do a daily setup and a race setup but this truck probably won't see the track honestly. Although I have another daily it would be nice to cruise it also being I only live a mile from work.

nitto and MT's drag radials work well on the street with my zo6 3120lb 599hp/600tq rear wheel my cousin has a c7 zo6 another one with a built gt500 650+ rear wheel cars can hook in 2nd. 1st gear is useless if you just nail the throttle with our cars have to roll into them easy

the biggest drag radial you can fit is what your going to want/need, i wouldnt do any thing smaller then a 17" rim i run 18" since you air down the drag radials more side wall you get with the 16" & 17" rims the more sway you'll have at high speeds

for the track big and littles all the way

yea im just having trouble finding a street legal radial that will half way last on the pavement. where i race I have to drive the truck 30ish miles to get there then 30 back so a slick would wear fast. I am going to build my own traction bar setup also with braced axle tubes.

thats the deal 15s are easy to find but i will have to swap to drums or grind the hell out of my calipers to fit them. trying to avoid that if possible, but may end up doing it if I cannot find another setup.

you claim to have a 750 wheel setup, so swapping to 15s shouldn't be a big deal for you.

17s only option are midget tires

I think I am going with an 18x10 wheel. found a nice tire dimension it will put me at 29.5 overall diameter.
