Default battery relocation question...

I am relocating my battery to the passenger side...not adding an aux. battery...

I've read all the threads...searched parts elsewhere online as well...
the threads here mention a "tray" or "support bracket"...part #15705102
This part # has been replaced by #15246518 and is listed as a "battery tray"
My research has come up with another part #...15727997...listed as a "battery tray bracket" and I am being told that both are required to complete the passenger side mount...

Does anyone have any knowledge of the details of these part #'s...whether both are required and what hardware comes with them or needed?

I understand that the current driver side battery hold down and bolt can be reused with the new passenger side tray...

Thanks!

and you got it through gm?
happen to have the "kit" #?
cuz I 'm being told that they are all individual parts #'s...
and what about the "battery tray bracket" mentioned above...was it part of the tray on yours?...maybe that's why the part #'s changed...
these two parts are on LateModelRestoration...and they are gm parts...sold thru them...

CHEVRACER83 ???
Torque_Wrench ???

I switched mine about 2 months ago to make room for my 3 gallon resovoir and only bought the tray,it comes stock on the diesels. The guy at the parts counter pulled up the diagram on the screen and I showed him what I wanted, and I had to make custom length cables.

This is interesting. I've never heard of people relocating their battery to the passenger side. Does it mount in the same place as the stock air cleaner box?

BlackLM7...no, it mounts where the fender support bracket is located on the passenger side by the firewall...
