Default What brand header wrap do you like? From experience?

Taking advice of members on here, and going to replace the provided pacesetter gaskets with OEM this spring break. Hopefully, to try and reduced a random ticking/tapping noise. If I'm going through the trouble of swapping gaskets, might as well put the truck on the lift and unbolt the collectors to remove the headers and spend a day artistically wrapping them right? lol

DEI titanium with stainless hose clamps.
Wrap that sheet as tight as you humanly can, it stretchs and of not pipe crushing tight it will slip.

You will destroy your hands and either need to bolt the headers to the side of a bench or table top. Or have someone hold them down as you wrap.
Use a extra hose clamp to "follow" your wraps as you wrap the pipes. You hands will cramp very badly of your tightening that wrap properly.
Have friend use drill whatever tp quickly tighten the hose clamp as you wrap.

Its not needed but i prefer tp use the high temp silicon wrap sealent from DEI, it acts as a glue and hardens the wrap keeping it solid and wont slip.

+1 to the DEI stuff. I really like their products. However, you don't have to be superman to get a tight wrap, just soak it in a bucket of water for a few minutes. The wrap will then have a stretch factor, and then wrap as tight as you can: as it dries, it tightens up for you

x3 on the DEI Titanium wrap. Like said above just soak it in some warm water and wrap it tight. It really controls heat especially in a tight area where your pipes get close to wire harnesses or plastics. Very little radiant heat. I usually do a half overlap when I wrap headers or pipes and that seems to have the best results for me.

I tried putting it in water once but it just seemed to make a big mess. The titanium stuff is nice. I use normal worm hose clamps to hold it.

If you want to torture yourself for a week after wrapping, get the cheap ebay wrap.
You will feel like you rolled around in a field of cactus! It sssuuuccckkksss!
While ot works as intended, it constantly sheds fiberglass splinters for months arfter installing.

(Edit)
If your feeling froggy and want to really maximize your setup. Get the 4" wide DEI titanium and wrap your Y pipe and catback all the way to exhaust tip.
Its shocking how hot the exhaust gas is when it exits a 10' long insulated pipe!
Your exhaust gas velocity is also through the effin roof! Makes for badass scavenging!
I swear you can light a candle behind my buddies chevy SS!

Oh yea, wear gloves and a long sleeve shirt when you wrap it. Youll be thankful.
