Ly6 swap
Searching for some info and help on my swap..
Doing a 08 ly6 swap on my 05 5.3. So far I have almost everything to assemble the engine back together. Changed reluctor wheel replaced rings and bearings . Doing a custom grind cam with dual springs ,Performance oil pump,ls7 lifters etc. We're I'm stock is wich valley cover to use. When I bought engine didn't come with one. Also how to run pcv routing. And for last what all I need to install nnbs intake. I know x-link,injector pigtails. Knock and cam sensor adapters.. any help is appreciated and any other tip I might need to get this swap working right... added a picture of the valley cover I have as of now..

12598832 valley cover for 6.0/6.2/4.8 without afm less expensive to buy the assembly than the gaskets....about $45 retail through dealer.... Gaskets were $65 or something the main gasket itself was $37 each of the 8 orings were $10 a piece with my employee discount... Assuming youre staying na run the pcv to the left valve cover and the right vapor port to the intake tube

If your truck return or returnless fuel system... If its returnless just hook it up and run with it, if return then vette filter with built in regulator and the fuel line from a 04-05 vette left fuel tank works well.... Someone just did this, tryin to remember who it was, and they had to rethread their oe style knock sensors to fit the holes in the side of the block... And modify the knock sensor harness they had....
