Default how to get the drone out?

So my sss has a dual 2.5 in single 3 out magnaflow muffler in it that takes place of the stock one and cats removed otherwise stock and it sounds real good outside but I think its louder on the cab then outside. I dont even want to drive it it's so annoying. Looks like maybe a 15in by 24in muffler, im ready to change it im just wondering which way to that will sound good and take the drone out, and resonators, different muffler, switch to single in and out muffler, run duel 2.5 mufflers? I wanna keep the tail pipe on it that it has, interested on what you have and how you like it? Thanks.

Add resonators or a dynomax bullet. Keep the tailpipe.

Resonators sometimes help with drone and sometimes not. I'd first try a bigger (longer) muffler.

That's vary interesting, were you guys able to notice a good difference doing this? Makes sence, mines bad between 1400-2000 rpm, it runs 2200 down the highway so its fine there but sucks driving around town. Guess ill need to try a slightly shorter one.

+1000 for the resonator tubes!

My truck is shown in KB's pictures above, it eliminated 90% of the drone. I highly recommend this mod.

It worked great on both my gas and my diesel trucks! My gas truck had 5 different exhausts setups till I did this and this was the ONLY thing that knocked the drown down. Lowered the db's by 5 in the cab acording to the sound app i have on my phone before and after. Was a HUGE difference!

Or you can go to a Corsa. Never an issue in the cab and great flow and sound outside. They back their product too.

Can't get anything over 3" in Corsa though, maybe 3.5".
