Yes it does change things, if you have a LQ4 go with the 243/799 heads then.

799 heads are 64.5 cc, not 61

Mine are the sdpc cnc 5.3 heads. Site says 61.1. I was going by that. Looks to be 862 casting.. my bad...

Okay, sounds like it might work out unless I have to punch it out some. so here is what I'm looking at so far. anything I need to add. This is my first build and I'm clueless at what i need for this point.anyone want to take a guess at HP/TQ

APR head bolts
Manley 7.400" Pushrods (length can be changed)
PAC-1211X .625" Valve Springs - Beehive


I hope I can use alot of the sensors off the 5.3 I have now. I'm guessing it will all swap over.

K, look like a Lq4 block ls3 piston and rods with worked over 317's. Any thoughts on a cam?
