Fair head milling price?

so i need to get them milled since they are going on a 5.3 correct? i was planning on getting the 243s, blower or not. and that was my plan was to have them milled 0.030 for the compression to come back to 9.5:1.

Yes. Unless you want to leave the compression, as is, after the swap.

ya, i basically want to have the compression at stock numbers while an N/A setup. can always throw on some 862 heads if i ever sell the truck.

a buddy recommended precision crankshaft in blue springs or lees summit, says they do really good work. he just got his block done there. ill check out other places too.

I paid $400 for a hot tank, bead blast, 3-angle valve job, .030" mill, install BTR springs. A flat mill is $125. CA prices for everything are higher than most parts of the country, I'm sure.
