differences btw 99 and 08 5.3's
What are the major differences between these two motors as far as power wise. Just wondering how far behind my 99 will be with all free mods, elec fans and lt's.

99 5.3L = 270 hp or 285 if it is a late model
08 5.3L = 315 hp.
The NNBS trucks are a bit heavier than the NBS trucks but they have a bit more hp and torque. You are still likely a bit down on power.
