Yeah 34s but its a DD and I don't really want to be running 3k down the highway..

Here is a table with 34" tires and the different gear ratios when in OD on a 60e.

Code:
RPM 3.73 4.10 4.56
500 19 18 16
600 23 21 19
700 27 25 22
800 31 28 25
900 35 32 29
1000 39 35 32
1100 43 39 35
1200 46 42 38
1300 50 46 41
1400 54 49 44
1500 58 53 48
1600 62 56 51
1700 66 60 54
1800 70 63 57
1900 74 67 60
2000 77 70 63
2100 81 74 67
2200 85 78 70
2300 89 81 73
2400 93 85 76
2500 97 88 79
2600 101 92 82
2700 105 95 86
2800 108 99 89
2900 112 102 92
3000 116 106 95
If you drive at 75mph, with 3.73s you about 1900rpm, with 4.10s its about 2100 and 4.56 its about 2350. Not much difference and well worth it.

I agree with atomic that you will be just fine with the 4.56s even at highway speeds. A 34" tire is a very large one. Keep in mind this will also reduce strain on your transmission and you will stay in vacuum longer saving you gas. If you can't bring yourself to do 4.56 then 4.30s do exist.

Thanks for that chart. Could I install the gears myself? And how much would my et change? BTW I have a set of stocks that I'm gonna put some slicks on for at the track (28x12). Plus it needs new plugs, and a tune ASAP

You can, there are some great write ups online. The main thing is getting the gear pattern and clearances correct. I recommend solid pinion spacers vs. factory crush collars.

Man I have no idea what that is lol. I'll look into things tho. How much do you think the dynotune will boost my et?

It's hard to say, once you have a baseline, the power increase you see will give you an idea of what it will pick up. But, power is only part of it. Shift points and TQ management are factors in ET as well.

I have a trans go shift kit and corvette servo sitting in my truck. Just haven't felt like messing with it yet.

4.56s will be fine with 28x12 slicks...the truck is still heavy and needs to get up and moving quicker

I was running 4.56s with 33" tires, really wasn't that much worse on the interstate cruising. The low end power was worth it.
