4L80E swap guys in here, do you have drive shaft length?

My 98 Burb needed to have the rear driveshaft shortened by 42mm.
I measured from the face of the bellhousing (where it bolts to the motor) to the mounting face of the NP243 transfer case (so....including the transmission to transfer case adaptors...which are different widths)and the difference between the two was 42mm.
This was perfect for mine.
Front drive shaft on the OBS's has a fair amount of 'telescopic' movement in it and didn't need altering.

) then the LS1 style. I know this cuz I used a shell of one out of a 98 for mock up when I put the 5.3 and 4l60e in my dads 72 chevy 4x4 pickup. Then I went to put the new 5.3/4l60e in for the final time, the motor mounts wouldn't fit!, lol I had to move the holes forward about 12mm
