Mild LQ4 Fuel Needs?
my daily is an 06 silverado 1500, 4.8L.
within the year I plan to swap in a 4l80e and a mild LQ4, now to clarify my version of mild, I'm thinking a very small cam and shave 0.020" off the 317 heads, I'm not even thinking headers at this time, probly stock exhaust and an airaid MIT
will the stock injectors and fuel pump on my truck supply the fuel needed for that?
I have 105K miles on the truck so I think the fuel pump is on borrowed time, I plan to switch it out soon to avoid any tow truck bills haha.

More than likely it will be plenty. I snagged a brand new set of 31# 8.1L injectors when I did my swap. ($105 shipped) I wanted room to grow, because no project is ever "finished." That same engine & transmission will now be going into my current truck... at the same time, I'll be adding LT headers and a bigger exhaust system. I had no intention of either, but things change. (I am even considering a stall converter and a larger cam before I swap it into my "new" truck.)
