351 build assistance
Afternoon guys I've got an 87 F150 with a 302 with 119xxx miles and I'm really wanting to build a 500 whp turbo 351 since I know the 302 won't hold together long.
With that said I'm I'm wondering what years the best block and forged bottom end pieces and heads...
Any an all help and insight would be great, thanks guys.

Late 60s Windsor small block.
For 500 rwhp a decent 302 base block will work but Either build I'd use forged bottom ends and arp every where.
When I built my 414ci sb, I spent the money and bought the best. AFR 225 outlaw heads. Again for 500 wheel w a turbo. Shouldn't be hard. Even trick flows engine packages are decent and they come w everything from summit. What turbo kit are u looking at or are you making one? What turbo specs? I'm guessing u have a c4 trans. Is it a 4x4 truck?
Def need more info on what u have to work w and what your goal is.

All my mustang buddies run the on3 performance turbo kit, they all love them an have no complaints. My only concern is which heads to go with, I won't lie I'm cheap. Just looking for best bang for the bank.
