I didnt see a big temp difference with my spacer, I think it becomes more relative the more you push it. We have the same intercooler core from 1900-2300. A good head porter, I like TEA but everyone has there favorite. You could go aftermarket casting or have them work a set of 317's and mill them a bit to bump compression. Throw some studs in it also while your at it.

Forged pistons, some rod bolts, oiling improvements c6 pan if you can or accusump, arp head bolts, blue print oil pump, ls9 gaskets, reuse crank/rods, and spend saved on a good set of heads you reuse on your next project, or and spend money on good valetrain and cam that isnt going to make you swap springs every 15-25k miles.

get some traction on the rear if any money left, could port your blower snout cheap too, port match manifold to heads also.

His cam shouldn't hurt valvetrain, cam motion lobes don't have crazy ramp rates, they are stable. Also porting the snout won't do anything unless running a 102mm throttlebody and that's just the opening

I have a 408 and would not do it with a stock block again.
2 seasons and I needed new pistons due to the piston going so far out of the bore.
My vote would be stock crank and rods with a set of .030 over pistons so a 370.
Get a nice set of heads instead of going all fancy on the rotating assembly

My vote for a FI DD engine is a stock bore stock stroke 6.0L. 0.005 overbore at most just to clean it up. You dont need huge cubes with a power adder, let it do the work.

Not necessarily. The FI power adder determines max power, the engine size just tells you at what RPM you get that power.

My .040 6.0 iron block was torquey as hell off idle with the Whipple. Never had an issue internally until my mishap with a certain pulley.

That's more so because of the cam having -11 degrees of overlap.
