How must boost can u get off the line??? And your new cam peak torque will be around 4000 to 4300. So I'm thinking u should be at that off the line.

I'll never hook 750tq off a transbrake, not moving... Only thing that would do send parts of a 10 bolt into a small child on 15 row in the grandstands.

Joking aside, I'd bet I can leave within 100-200 rpms of where I do now. I'll be sure to share the results, good or bad.

Having the transbrake, two step, and nitrous i dont see the cam doin anything but helping at the track.
But on the towing aspect, if your locked in OD i dont see it making all that much power in the 1500-2500 range. Should start to shine in the 3500+ range tho.

Talk to stock48 and see what insight he can give you.

You have take the ls6 cam quite far and thats awesome. But you really dont need a "big" cam with the turbo. Stock48 went 9.6s on the 215 .566 114 with all kinda shifting/rev limiter bugs with that 370. And then went the 9.7s on the triple 12.
Altho larger cubes, But still a small cam.

I think it would be cool to see the TQ curve difference on your exact setup but just cam change then the intake/tb change.
Might suprise alot of people. I really wish i had a triple 12 cam laying around id sure send it to you to see how it did. All i have is a 218/220 114.

If I could have done it differently I would have started with a 220/22x or that U1 cam. My 234/228 doesn't come alive until 4300 or so. Keep the pig rolling though Foose

Thank you sir! Also thanks to o2camaross for first hand feedback.

I ordered the cam today, they don't stock it so comp will be cutting it and sending it out within 3-4 days. They also recommended I swap the 1518's out. I called PAC for there input, they said the same thing, be a good idea.

SO, next up is springs. Speed Inc. said PR .650 duals, pac said their 1218x's.

Still researching though, haven't decided yet. Also would be pretty dang cool if holley would be on the ball have the new High Rise available us cathedral port guys.

Tryin to plant to shinny red girl in the 9 second in-zone.

Joey that true lol.

Found this dyno graph, this is 347 9.5:1CR with a TC78, 12.5psi. This is a mustang dyno, so add 75-100 if want dyno jet numbers.
Feel pretty good about the HP curve though.

Not that my .02 is worth anything, but I think you are headed in the right direction. I think the high revving high boost 4.8 is going to make great use of the bigger cam . I have the 212/212 and I like it, but for all out shooting for single digits in a small package I'd say you made the right choice.

Hell, if you hate it, we may swap bumpsticks down the road.

That's the cam I have, I know we talked about it a little while back. But I was just on the dyno last weekend and although I didn't get any good conclusive pulls I canday that I was still making power at 7k.... I've thought for a while I wanted a bigger cam that would pull higher but apparently this "little" 225/581 cam has some *** behind it!
