Thanks I'll definitely pin it! I'm gonna just go with the base setup I guess and see what she does and then go from there. This ones my daily so hopefully I can contain myself....

Yeah they've got pulleys on their site. I think Brian could probably hook me up with whatever as well. BTW his site is 10% off today only!

I know I said I probably wouldn't even do headers but that was before I saw Texas Speeds 1 7/8 with y pipe for under 700. How is the fit and quality on Texas Speed headers as a rule?

keep looking for headers, you can get pacesetters with y pipe for like $450-500

I know Pacesetters have a lot of good reviews for budget builds but I've also read that the o2 bungs have to be moved many times, they are thin and some have interference on fit? That is the reason I hadn't considered them on this truck. Am I wrong on this? I'm asking because I haven't really paid that close of attention.

How much do ARH system cost compared. I have seen a lot of thumbs up about their products.

Last time I checked ARH or Kooks ~ 1500...ouch! I just thought the Texas Speeds might be a good header and save some bucks too!

I have used the TSP headers on a number of Camaros and had great luck with them.

I would have used them on my 15 Silvy but they didn't have a Y pipe for the 6.2 yet.

For ease of install and not wanting to risk down time, I went with Kooks. Great fit, but hurts the checkbook. ARH builds a great product as well and will modify them if you wish, for a fee. (4" outlet on y pipe, 2" primaries, etc...)

Really appreciate your input on these. Probably chance it after I settle in with the blower. Plan is to do a dyno stock before and after blower, then headers with a custom tune. Track times at each upgrade as well and share the info here. Need to order a Tru Cool to install with the blower he. Gonna be fun...its been a while.

Getting antsy...waiting for it to ship so I just ordered a Trucool 40k with cold weather bypass so it can go on at the same time. Come on FedEx!
