Figured I should post this here as well. Ran it with E85 9.136@ 74.97. Added Whipple kit on 93. 8.256@ 82.87. Bed cover and liner both runs. No weight reduction, no other mods ~ 5200 race weight with Whipple.

How much boost is the kit good for in bolt on form?

Nice to see this headed in the right direction. It will be cool to watch this progress as you get more and more hungry for power.

Well it says ~ 7.5 on their site so I'm guessing that's right. I'm going to add some front shocks first in next few weeks so I don't have to leave at idle anymore. It will stall at 3k now with stock converter so there is a lot left on the table in the 60'. BTW the cover and liner is ~ 125 lbs.

That's moving really good. Are you going to go back to E85 in the future?

Thank you. In the future I think so. I feel more comfortable with that than I do with meth because of possible malfunctions. Long as its a bit conservative on the tune I should be ok with a bigger pump and bigger injectors.

The plus side to meth in a DI engine is the ability to keep your intake valves and runners clean. You may have trouble building an e85 fuel system for DI thats up to the task you have in mind. I'm sure its possible but I havent seen it done and I would guess it will be very expensive.

Wondering do you think meth would really make a difference for me though since most days I don't even go into boost...just normal driving? Lots of things to consider but I'm definitely liking this so far. Shocks, I guess headers and a good tune in a few weeks.

First congrats on a cool truck and a sweet new blower for it , its an awesome feeling having forced induction, nothing like it .

I wouldnt worry about meth at this time/stage in your build till you up the boost aways , on a non DI setup when your at 12psi or above is a good time to start thinking meth with a blower setup.

An aftermarket cam with an agressive fuel pump lobe , Z06 pump and injectors will take your fuel system a ways .

Last fall there was a new stingray , with Z06 fuel system and aftermarket cam, Procharger only running 10.3 on street tires at 8psi and more room to go fuel wise i was told .

You start smiling when you get up to 10psi , cam , exhaust . That blower you have wants to be pullied down so it can eat !

My next project is going to have 2.9 .

Thanks Tim! The guy running the lights in the tower and the guy at the starting line really liked it too. The guy in the modified Powerstroke I ran couple times...not so much lol. I like the idea of ZO6 parts. Should save some $ too. Great to hear from someone that's been in the trenches with the blowers for so long and gotten so much out of it. It's going to be great!

I know you could build a fuel system to support a ton of power on gasoline, but I am not sure on e85. My guess is thats why the z06 for instance is not a flex fuel car...
