Case 850 dozer 6b engine similar to truck 6bta?
I think I got my engine designations correct.... Anyhoo, I'm a regular at LS1 tech so I'm rarely here but my dad just got a Cummins 850 dozer with the naturally aspirated 5.9 but it has a hole in the side of the block. 
A friend has a 12 valve truck 5.9 from the early 90's. Were there differences in the motors besides the turbo? As in piston dish, combustion chamber, cam profile, etc?
