Default Looking for transmission shop indianapolis or terre haute

So it looks like my torque converter sent metal and clutch material through my transmission.
I would like to find a shop that will go through it and replace only what's needed as I don't think I need a complete rebuild.
Been searching for some time and not having much luck.

Anyone have a good trans guy maybe in Indy or terre haute???
I just moved to terre haute last week and I don't know if anyone around here is any good.

Just spoke to RPM on the phone.
Sounds like 350 labor plus parts.
Seems like a great price to me.
When I get things ready I think I might have them work on this for me.
Thanks for the input fellas

Dropped my trans off at RPM this morning.
The 350 quote was for a manual trans.

These guys appear to be a Premium operation.
Nice clean facility easy to find right off I69.

I will post up when I get it back.

I have a RPM trans. In my truck. I live in the Indianapolis area and if I ever have a problem with it, they jump right in it and take care of me. Best customer service I've ever dealt with. Broke a 4th gear band while drag racing at LS fest, took my truck straight up to them after the show sunday. They had it fixed Monday. I go in to pay and they tell me dont worry about it. Trans was out of warranty, but they said it was a break that shouldn't of happened. So they not only fixed it for free, but put in a stage 7 band. My trans is a stage 6. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Very happy with the work and service.

Ya the trans was messed up but not sure if its problems were caused at the time of this issue as there were some other issues they found once they got into it.

RPM replaced the pump, forward and direct drums, and center support on my trans.
Assuming the pump bit the dust when the filter was plugging off with metal and clutch material.
Excellent folks to deal with. Even met me there on Saturday (when they were closed) so I could pick it up.

Right now my torque converter is at Circle D and I plan to post up with what they have found.

Chris emailed me about my torque converter.
Turns out a bearing failed inside.
Assuming this is what took out my transmission.
I placed my order for the 278mm 3000-3200.
Also I still need to get the right flexplate for this converter.

I havent had time to pull it out and get an expert to look at it. I emailed Chris about it, he thinks it sounds like a sprag failure, but said its rare on oe 4l80e converters. There is no metal in the pan at all though like yours had.

It's probably gonna wind up sitting there for a bit til we can pull the trans and tc.
