Default anyone know what a stock lightning runs?

i have a feeling i am going to run up against a stock 01 lightning this weekend. i still have a little work to do my truck but i think it will be able to run consistant high 13's maybe right around 13.8. that will be in 4wd so no traction issues. i have heard that the new lightning will run aroung 13.7, is that true? can they do that consistantly or is that their best posiable ET, are they known for having traction problems?

I watched one run a 14.3 or so last night at Indianapolis Raceway Park - I'm not sure how stock it was, though.

Whats your elevation? Here in Houston, they run low 13's stock. Good luck, they can be a handful.

What's the elevation in Houston? The elevation is 700 here in Indy...

A buddy's stock '01 ran 13.8 @ 99mph consistantly here at ~1900ft. Those ******* can move in the 1/8th mile, so keep your foot in it and hope that you can chase him down.

In Feb when I ran a 13.9, I was up against an L. My 1.9 60' had him out of the hole, but by the 330, we were even. At the 1/8th he was 1 1/10th ahead and he finished with a 13.5 in the 1/4.

Have you already installed your transmission?

no, it is supose to be here tomorrow but i havn't confirmed that. i might be dreaming about going out racing but i hope i can, i am dying not even being able to floor my truck.

lets say i am able to pull a 13.8ET who wants to guess what a 75shot might get me?

i have been dreaming about a iron 422 setup with killer heads+cam but the money for that could be a long wasy off, i think i may have to do a little cheating(50-75 shot)
