So i was on my way to lunch yesterday when Mr. Ricecar pulled up and popped a rev at me. I was on my radials and stock tires up front so i gave him a little rev back. I had my window down listening to some jams and he rolled his down and just looked at me like i was stupid. So i said hey man nice car......It was a srt4 neon with gauges up the pillar, some nice looking 17" wheels with a radial, and it was red in color. I asked him what is done and he said its a stage 3 with a bigger turbo, innercooler, exhaust, and he named some other stuff but i was too busy laughing cause he told me that it runs 12 point 6 at one hundred and fourteen miles per hour. First off i was laughing at the way he said it, but thats impressive for a fwd 4cyl car. So i told him i wanted to kick down with him......he leaned out the window and looked down the truck and smirked and said yea right..... that kinda pissed me off but i was like ok we will do this for sure then... so he started building boost to do a sissy fly by and took off, well i nailed it and stopped his pull and put two on him quick(he never passed me) so then he decides he will try it again! I told him to give me a fair race and he said ok on the third honk we will go. I dug around for the vid camera and this is what happened to the poor guy, I let him get the hit and i used the vid camera so no brake boost or anything just a quick downshift and ran for a few seconds trying not to break 100 mph haha!

 

I know it is a conversation starter but man it is hard to say "nice car" to a guy driving a neon.

 

yea haha! Just wanted him to bite! I got what i wanted and he was not too happy!

I just read up on the stage 3 neon and thats like 5 grand of stuff to make 350 hp. I think he was off on his hp though. Ill be het upgrades to stage 50 now

Haha that reminds me of my run in with a lightning last night. He came up behind me and did a quick fly by, so I opened up the cutout and did a nice little 20 mph rolling burnout past his truck. He rolled down his window and said something so I put on my turn signal to go into a parking lot to talk but he just kept going. Maybe I'll see him around again soon
