Pinion angle might be part of the prob. But a set of cal trac bars or even traction bars will do away with it..

Not to hijack your thread but I am also having hopping problems. I just installed longbars, and am currently running 255/55/18 bridgestone duelers. I have a 4/6 drop, but the hopping was still there when the truck was a stock height. The longbars did not do anything at all to help the problem, but i did notice it plant a little better in the 1-2 shift. Anybody have any ideas? Also I checked into it, and if you were to replace the leaf springs, the part number is different from the 99 and 00-06 body styles. I doubled check the number to make sure they didn't mistake the 99 for OBS, but it was correct. Could there be a weaker spring for 99? Slowswb, what year is your truck? Thanks for all the help guys!
