Default carrier bearing

has anyone changed their carier bearing? the one in my truck is bad but autozone doesnt carry it and i couldnt find it on the oreilley's website, is the dealership the only place to get one?

when i do find one does it need to be pressed off/on?

It should be a fairly common bearing, but the dealer will be high as giraffe booty.

Yes, getting the old one off will be your biggest pain. but the new one will be pressed on. A trick I use, take and cut the cage off of your old bearing. turn it upside down and use it to press on the inner part of the new bearing.
I would change all of the bearings while you are in there... that is just me.

are we talking about the same bearing? the one between the front and rear drive shafts, right under the rear of the cab on an ecsb

It is pressed on, and yes I have seen them at napa, carquest, and so on.
