Default Might sell the truck for an f-body, what's yalls opinion?

Anybody gone from one to the other and regret it? With gas skyrocketing it will be tough for me before too long to justify having a truck as a dd, even though I love it and have dumped a bunch of dough into it. But seeing as how it's got over 100k on it and I've had it for 4 1/2 years I'm starting to look at cars. Since the vette is my dad's old car I don't want to drive it daily, esp. since it has 92k on it as well

I was considering it just a few days ago, but I could find a LS1 f-body in my price range, but if you can Id go for it honestly, lots of power, alot better gas mileage, theres not many cons for the trade

I went from a 2000 black bird (she was pretty) to a 2003 GMC and then to this truck. I loved that Firebird but after a few years hated it. It's a pita to get in and out of and I guess I am really just a truck guy at heart.

I would drive one today but I don't think I'd trade my truck for one.

I think you'll hate the feel and quality of the F car after driving the truck. I would look for something else personally. I almost bought one for a DD awhile ago. The deal fell through and I was pissed at the time, but I really think it was a blessing in disguise. I could never own one at this point...I think I would hate it.

I love f-bods, but wouldn't up the truck for one. There is nothing better then a truck that can whip some ***. Plus 'thers somthing women like about a pickup man'

Test drive a few, see if you like it. Pop the hood, see if you can deal with working on it I can honestly say I'd trade my truck for one, but some old guy would have to own it from day 1.

I could not trade my truck for one, cause I need my truck for hauling crap, going camping, moving my GF, etc... I did tell my GF that I want one for a race car later on and still keep the truck...

dude you want a DD?...get a 30mpg gas car with 200k on it for 150 bucks or save a little like me and get a little roughed up kia and drive it till the wheels fall off and then bolt them back on and go another 100k! Timing belts suck, but its not the worst thing. You will get the mod bug on a f body somethin' fierce, and then mpg goes down. Wait it out IMO. Keep the truck.
