Not hurting my feelings, I want a standard cab fullsize 4x4 right now...

Titan down fall is there 4 wheel drive set-up and rear-axle issues from the factory. They should have beefed things up more and the option packages suck *****!

Nissan merging with Chrysler can not be a good thing for either brand IMO.
Talk about losing brand recognition and loyalty. Let alone Quality Control! Two different companies with totally different philosophies merging can never work out smoothly, it would take years for this to be ironed out unless one just gives in to the other.
Look what happened with Diamler and Chrysler. I used to call on the Chrysler plant here in my state, there were always mutterings of discontent between the Germans and Americans.
Add to this a Japanese influence and you end up with the same crap.
This may just be a superficial merger with one having 90% of the power, that is the only way it would even be profitabl for either. I hope it's all heresay.

Good luck Nissan and Chrysler fans.

So apparently Nissan under rates their numbers! I was looking at Truckin magazine and they named the Truck of the year (w/out including any chevy's or GM ) and they dyno'd all of them including the Titan and from it's stock rated numbers of 317bhp the dyno showed 290 rwhp. I don't think they only lost 17 hp through their drivetrain so it's a shame their going bye-bye

Kinda sucks, I've always kinda secretly liked the Titan. I test drove one right after they first released and came damn close to buying it.

My only reason for not was the ghastly gas mileage.
