What kind of octane booster are you guys using? It cost me almost 100 bucks going to the track then buying 5 gallons of 104. Just wondering what you guys have used that works well.

No ****?, Your running that in the tank? how many points willt hat raise it. Does it work similar to the way a meth kit will work? Never heard of people running that **** in the tank. Hmm

 

He uses it as meth since it's like 50% meth and cheap as hell. Meth IMO is the only cost effective means of raising octane other than race gas. You can make your own using toluene, but that can get messy. There is an octane booster that somebody was advertising on tech. It was like $18 a bottle, so again, not really that cost effective compared to a race gas blend.

 

60/40 meth to H2O for me when at WOT. Equals close to 120 octane when sprayed over 93 pump gas.

 

Yep, what Todd said. I run it as meth injection for the added octane and cooling affect. Works awesome!

 

I need to get a damn meth kit!! I guess I'll bite the bulit this time and buy 5 gallons of 104. Need to save my pennies for a meth kit.

 

Methanol will make it run cooler for sure. My Cuda runs on it and the temp never gets above 160 when its 100 + degrees outside. I havent tried Methanol injection yet though.

 

+1 on the Meth. Take a look at the Alky Controll system, quality parts and excellent customer service.

In route to you. complete with tank. Then we need to move or IAT sensor to the intake to take advantage of the meth.
