So Im heading home from work tonight down a really long stretch of road. I see an STi in my rear view so I slow down for him to catch up, about 50 mph. He get next to me and we both hammer it. Were dead even till about 100 where my speedo is barried, from 100-130 He starts to pull a little and gets about 2 cars on me and can't pull anymore. Im guessing were doin about 135 I was in third at 5500 rpm, which on the dyno i pulled 130 in third . I think Id have have him from a dig, but going that fast my truck is like a refrigerator. oh well it was fun, wish i had a magic button to press.

 

Good run. Don't forget they are AWD and from a dig they have an advantage...unless you launch in 4wd.
I've raced a couple, one of which was lightly modded.

 

Yeah in 4wd i can launch at 10 psi. Its easy to roast the clutch in one of those if you dump it. But we were even till we got over a 100.

 

Forgot to mention Ive been running lower boost like 8psi. If was running 10 psi like I normally do I would have eatin him up.

 

ONE KEPT SCREWING WITH ME.... SO I MASHED IT.... he killed me... i didnt have a prayer.... then again i didnt expect much

 

The one i raced had 3 trys and I ran from him so hard that I thought he wasn't even trying but he assured me he was.

"But you have a supercharger" he said in a whiney voice! LOL!

 

MINE HAS A 4.8 I WHINED HAHA

 

So you should have said, " well you got a turbo" lol.
